I have only had the unit for a few weeks, and used it only once, but I have to say, it is well made. It was easy to assemble and seems to be made of good material. It fits all my different rifles and pistols and seem very stable. I do not have a lot of experiance in firearms service, but I feel this will be a great help in the learning experiance, JV

I have wanted one of these for almost a year now. My neighbor has one and I was very impressed with it. So finally, with remarkably little prodding, my sweetie bought me one for Christmas. Life is good. It really is a super product, well designed and constructed, (unfortunately in China. Why can't we make it here?) A must have for any serious gun person!!!

As the elected cleaner of all our guns I was always having a problem with the rifles. I knew I needed something better than what I had been trying to do in the way of securing them as I worked. When I saw the Tipton Best Gun Vise on the internet I tracked it down to a couple of stores just to examine it. I had my husband purchase this item from Amazon. It was the best price around. I am extremely pleased with this "vise". It is very well engineered and thought out. I can lock a handgun or long gun in it with minimal effort and control my cleaning efforts. I would recommend this product to anyone. It is a bit pricey but definitely worth it.
